I was expecting people to be ripping on the GT wing on a street car

 

I just watched vol.91 ...the scoot 4 rotor FD is only cruising on the wet gunsai touge....they didn''t pushed it at,....nothing special and very short.
But the other touge battles are awesome as always !

 

I wish my FD could sound like that..

The Scoot 4 rotor was not really spec-d or mean't to be run on the touge. It is more of a street car/wangan.

 

Was that dude in the video Mr Amemiya's son or something? Kind of looked like older Amemiya-san that I remember.

that fujita/feed FD was sooooo sick. sounded really fast haha

I was disappointed they didn't race the re fd vs the feed fd. Also they didn't push teh scoot car because it was raining I assume.

fujita recorded better sector time if you compare. the RE time attack was only a good total touge time but in sector time he kept getting slower and slower ... He was making it more understeery to get on the power more often resulting in a good full touge time. When they do the Touge runs in hot version they only run pieces so FUJITA's sector time is more important.

What's interesting is the WILD spring rates they run!

RE time attack car running F;15kg R;18kg
Fujita is F:20kg R:20kg (sector time 26'491)

Another interesting piece is RE blade type swaybar thats the 1st street one i'v seen for an FD.

 

My friend runs 20 spring rates 4x on his "touge" S2000. It used to be a honda cup car, but also a DD and touge car for over 5 years.

 

They've done that before, but with the OLD RE Amemiya touge monster with the twins. I see that the FDs with the twins are way easier to handle in the touge. The single'd fds just put too much power down, that it's kind of useless. Nothing but trying to maintain traction with the singles.

 

its very hard to base that on track data because on data alone single is faster but like Mr.Fujita said its all about gearing and shift range.

 

it seems like a street ported motor with twins would be the best combination for the touge showdowns.

 

putting the power down when its 450ps would be difficult weather it is with a single or twin turbo. sounded like my blitz bov on the fujita car

The car was bouncing around pretty hardcore, very stiff spring rates.
