I'm sure it was painted that way to draw as much attention possible, but I really like it. Its nice to see something different. Any info on if these head lights are re as well?
I like it. It was designed to stand out and grab obnoxious attention. Japanese trends are very different from American trends as well.
I like the inner hood design/modification to take full advantage of the v-mount intercooler.

I'm pretty sure the lights are just the normal RE-A sleek lights with slight modifications (bulbs?) and they also look a bit different because of the SGT bodykit on the car.
Seems like he made a turbo'd version of his gt car lol. Anyone else notice the lack of frame supports in the engine bay (unlike the REVO ta2)? On that note, would love to see this 20b Super Gt inspired fd go up against the REVO 13b Super GT inspired fd
Oh and gmonsen the green filter is from m7 who sponsor Amemiya, and apparently he needed an m7 part on his car for brand rep.

I'm not a fan of that smurf blue color over some other race car colors like signal green (I love green race cars) but those graphics are pretty cool and compliment the color.

I think this is a very good design study to think about. It illustrates something I've been doing and promoting: real color coordination. The engine bay lighter blue is contrasted with the darker blue and the darker blue was chosen to match the rubber hose on the intake. Very few engine bay blunders from that standpoint except the red plug wires (or lime green air filter, take your pick). They should have had the plug wires match the air filter green or had both the air filter and wires white, for example. The outside paint is horrible. They should have just used the blue solid and non of the Macular-degeneration-derived UJM superbike graphics. I would have changed out the interior color to make it pop instead of the stupid graphics. Lime green or leaf green in that blue would jump at the crowd. Orange with that blue would jump. Anyway, good design effort spoiled by the implacably bad Japanese anime graphics culture. Without the acid trip graphics, I like it.

Couldn't have said it better....

opens up some ideas for mirror alternatives...
that's not paint on the outside, they are vinyl graphics which is the new trend in Asia these days. You can get the car completely covered for a mere $1200 instead of shelling out thousands for a paint job.
