I have an 87 FC and the trim is a little faded. I was thinking I would just spray it the color of my car instead of keeping it black, kinda like on the FD's? I know its a different trim than on the FD's but has anyone ever done it? Would it look alright?

 

just need to prep it right. Get all the old flaky paint off and then prime it with plastic primer, then use a plastic paint or better yet have a body shop match the paint and paint them up and clearcoat them. That should work good.
