(non-rx-7) Pics with my new D60!

Thanks to Allen G (rotarybeat1287), I've decided to take the plunge and get started with digital photography. I bought my Nikon D60 a couple days ago and I love it! I have a lot to learn, but I'll get there.

Anyway, these were taken at the Riverwalk here in Columbia, SC. Just thought I'd share a couple shots.

Roommate's bracelet

Flowing water

Bent tree

My sweetheart

Long exposure of Gervais Street bridge

Tunnel effect from the bridge arches

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I'm pretty much brand new to this myself, a2. Sounds corny, but every picture is another lesson learned.

Right now I have two lenses. A 18-55 and a 55-200. Both are vibration resistant. I think that I'll just use those two for a while until I become more comfortable with the camera.

This one would be better if you didn't have the leaves in the front. It's a great shot though with the converging lines. You have a pretty good camera to learn with too.

Damn Reese you do have an eye for it! Great shots man! The D60 does a really good job at pumping out some nice colors for sure. Keep it up. It will suck you in like crazy I can promise you.

Those are some very nice shots man! The depth of field is great in that tunnel pillar shot. Glad you are getting into photography as well.

I'm hoping to get those P-shopped out. I just posted the completely untouched pics. Post production makes a difference sometimes.

Allen, thanks! After seeing your work, it means a lot.
