No RX-7 but new pics of the new car

Decided to brave the cold weather today since i just did a full detail on the car yesterday. Didn't use my tripod even though i had it with me, so please excuse some of the strange angles.

Thumbs up

Congrats!

I'm a fan of the old Mini's, never been in a new model one, looks like a fun little car.

Cool, I used to work on Minis. What ALTA parts do you have done?

I've driven a Helix Turbokompressor powered mini that was putting around 350whp down to the ground. That thing was damn scary to drive when you wind the motor out to redline. It ffelt hella fast!

Cold Air Intake, 15% Supercharger Pulley, 19mm Rear Sway Bar, 4" Stubby Antenna (not really a mod of course)

Have other stuff as well; and more stuff on the way.

Not sure, but i took out the rear seats. That's supposed to delete around 36lbs or so.

yes, they are heavy, as are most european cars, i think ~3800 lbs without looking at anything. the GTI is ~3400, ****, the farrari is ~3200.

on the other spectrum, my s30 is only 2300 lbs.

peace

If I remember correct they are 2700lbs. but thats alot considering how small they are. I know they were heavier than my old MX-3 and were alot smaller which surprised the crap out of me.

Guess the weight doesn't bother me that much; it's def. not a slow car; and i've done some performance mods to it already.

Curb weight listed at around 2500. That is not a heavy car...

Congrats!

I have a 2006 MCS also.

fwiw, I have a set of JCW springs gathering dust in the garage. I don't think I'll have time to install them before my next move and might sell them.

Thanks; i'm tempted on the JCW springs. Not sure about fitment with my tires/wheels though. I'd also have to wait a while, since i've spent well over my budget timeline already.

JCW exhaust, possibly JCW springs, ALTA Top Mount Intercooler V2.0, ALTA short shifter, M7 Carbon Fiber Front Splitter-Aero, Aero Front Bumper (already have, getting painted this weekend), Black out the roof (already have vinyl coming), possibly GP rear spoiler, trying to find a Carbon Fiber rear diffuser, Rota Torque wheels (again, already have these), OutMotoring blackout beltline kit (already have), BBK (no idea which one), engine management stuff (ECU, tune, etc)

That sounds like everything; i know i'm probably missing some stuff. I'm attempting to make a killer track-car, while having the car be steetable.

Great cars, they can be really quick. I dont know how they would do on a big track but they are still high on my list of cars I would love to have as grocery getters or just cruisers.
