New Lens (non-Rx7)
By the lens bug...
I stopped by Wolf camera and tried out a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens. I bought it and can't wait to shoot some car shots with it. Here are some teaser shots just messing around... the last two are with my 18-70mm.
Thanks for looking!

haha just realized the heading of the thread was "by the lens bug". It was a different title on a Nikon forum... "got bit today". whatever tho, I'm tired.

Terrified.
The pics look great. I'm a big fan of redheads, so congratulations on a good looking one, and that is why I couldn't speak about anything else until I knew if you had that one in the bag or not.
I actually want to get into photography myself, but its another one of those things that I just know too little about to ever actually get started in it. I think the pictures are great looking though.

Thanks for the compliments! I am really in over my head right now tho about taking pictures. I used to know so much when I had my high end point and shoot that it got boring. Being a novice about photography isn't bad b/c everyone is really nice and willing to help out and give techniques and what not.
I am a sponge to what people have to teach me and all b/c I want to use my new camera to its full potential and put out some nice shots.
Yeah my girlfriend is pretty badass. We have been dating for a while now.

you say you have no clue what your doing... are you on PCP? photobucket is the easiest thing to sign up for.
Not to be rude, but you have successfully signed up for this forum, created an avatar that isn't generic, and bought a 40D, built a motorcycle, and learned how to quote.
really... posting 8 pictures that you have taken in someone else's thread is kind of questionable.
