Sweet, maybe ricers will start killing themselves on bikes and stop ruining good cars . That is pretty entertaining to watch though.

ANd as a reminder johny quest. extended swing arms give you more grip on accel.
SO i would guess that it is harder with swingarm.

PLus your videos the guy did the gay rear wheel lock to a gayward drift. It had nothing on my video. Ask a real bike guy and they will tell you which drift was harder.. Im sure they will agree with my video. BEcause i have never seen a stunt biker even come close to what those pplz did in my vid.

well now sir. evidentally since you cant think further than what your "rider" friends tell you i will school you in a few things. The tire provides the grip... nothing else. Having an extended swingarm provides stability and minimizes the bikes tendency to wheelie. Got it hot shot? Now it would make sense that having this added stability would increase the ability to control the bike under riding such as in your video. Am i correct? As far as asking a real rider.... maybe i will ask the guys that i have been riding with for the past 4 years. Makes me wonder if the riding experience i have holds any bearing in what i say, or if you are gonna continue to argue with people who clearly know more about the topic than some drift ****** who comes in here trying to talk like he knows **** about something he very clearly does not. Please DIAF and rid this forum of your complete and absolute stupidity.

extended swing arms and stock shocks does dick for traction... I have built several stretched busa' that made 491rwhp... No problem laying down an 8 second 1/4 mile pass but will spin the tire at will arounf 130mph..

Over streched bikes like that are just posers.. I guess they are good for the 150' they travel doing burnouts on little tires.. Here is one of my old busa's... ANd the tag said it all..

smarty pants. Ask your friend which one he would try first. The short rear brake lock drifts or the huge manjis my posted video shows.

THe one he tries first = the easy one. Thats should settle the BS arguement.

The gay *** manji is easier than the wheelies, stoppies, and pretty much anything those guys did. They were pirouetting (sp.?) on their rear wheel. All those ghetto people had to do is give a little clutch kick while pushing on the outside peg. NOT HARD, for the drifts and brodies those guys have to use the front brake to transfer weight to the front wheel, then they have to tap the rear brake, then power, balance, and guide the bike. Have you ever done this, or are you just an expert just by watching. I have grown up on motorcycles. I got my first when I was ten. I can go around corners on county roads and never let of the throttle, and thats on dirt. Pavement has more traction for the front wheel.

I was really close to becoming a pro skater. I know what looks hard. Trust me. Im like an action sports freak.

We were comparing drift. The stunt guy simply locks the rear wheel and powers over.
The video i posted One dude in particular was good. And he was actually upshifting while going 40mph+ im sure. I have never seen that done in a stunt show.. SO it must be hella hard. Thats famous stunt guy from superstreet doesnt even try drifts like that=P

YOu guys think they use the front brake while they are doing manjis or something.? IS that why you guys think the drift on the my video was gay?

There is one guy who doesnt use the brakes at all. HE is just clutch kicking and upshifting.

After reading this thread, I'm thinking this:

...because there is no way someone who can use a computer well enough to post on 7club could be that ******* retarded. You're an expert on stunt riding because you "were almost a professional skater?" Srsly?

Damn brave souls! I'm talking about the spectators over the barrier in the path of the bikes - umm gotta think the scenario when one of the bikes over drifted! lol

Extended swingarms definitely helps with this exercise.

Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden have long since been notorious for riding like that... in the middle of races.

Videoooooo
haha, I remember that video (and most of the season shown in the video). Poor old Bayliss couldn't hack it stepping up to MotoGP and went back to WorldSBK where he now finally retired.

WOW! "Arguing over the internet is like competing in the special Olympics... nobody wins!"
Are we seriously arguing over witch video is better... Ive been an active rider for many years and simply riding a bike takes a bit of skill and is f***in dangerous, trust me i got the scars to prove it. And if I may say any slight change in sideways angle on any of those bikes, extended swing arm or not and you have a good chance of high siding the bike.
My opinion, both are good vids.

They always seem like they happen in slow motion even when just being a spectator.

Was very impressed with the bike stunts.

The drifting has a nice wow factor.
