WTF NO! i had just decided to paint mine black after a month or two of thinking about it, and now you post this. ughhh, maybe i should just get two, one white and one black. Looks nice, assuming you get the bumper alignment solved, the clear turn signals look surprisingly nice too, nice paint!

 

it's an s4 with an s5 body swap

lets just say it should have cost 5k.

I dont know how many times i have to say this, but i already have suspension. They're Tein super street dampening coilovers, and my wing is getting painted right now ill have it on by this weekend.

I'm think about 17 in the front and 18 in the rear, but i'm not sure.

Well i'm getting a front mount in the next 2 weeks and i'm dying all my interrior black.... then the motor rebuild. I want a minor street port and bigger turbo.

i just wetsanded them with 600 and then buffed them real good.


Nope ill do the bumper when i get my front mount, i dont feel like taking it off right now.

what size and offset do you plan on getting?


edit... i see... 17 18 staggered 17x8f +32 to +35 and a 18x9 or 18x9.5 in the back???

 

i'm getting the +35 offset. I gotta figure out what size i want. If the guy i'm trying to buy them from on here gets the shipping quote done i can get them real fast. They're all 17''s.

 

rim diameter is personal preference, I prefer 17's... you would be hard pressed to run anything wider then an 8" +32 in the front unless you want to deal with rubbing issues.

the rear you can run 9's or 9.5's with no issues with a +35

I had 17x8 +35 with a 235 on the front and a 17x10+35 with a 255 in the rear. The fronts rubbed on the springs and the rear was about 3/16ths from rubbing on the trailing arm. I also had to roll the front fenders a little

your car looks good right now too, but with the wheels it'll look ALOT better,...I had the same S4 TII wheels you have and then put good wheels on my car last week, now it looks SOOOO much better,...it's amazing how much difference wheels make !

 

did you cut off the center section of your bumper?? looks niice and clean.. fill that hole up with a FMIC!!

for rims, you should get something with a concave. IMO concave = WIN

 

Nice car looks good. Modernized tail light and wingless are where its at. I'm surprised no one on here has proposed yet.

Sounds like we have a similar project plan.

I'm building the motor now, shopping for bigger turbos' etc. FMIC is being fabbed now. I've got the body shop scheduled for May, and yes mine should cost a lot more than I'm paying too. I just have to drive to Tulsa for the deal. I wen with Sport MAx 962's staggered.

The only differance is mine is Black.

Your car looks great! build it the way you want it and don't sweat all the free advice you'll get on here.
