I'd rather see the specs on the Kabura. It's already a hard top, it was "powered on to the stage" by the mx-5 i4 (which doesn't exclude the renesis for a final powerplant) it's already a hard top it looks teh sex, and the projected curb weight is 2400lbs.

interesting? oh, yes.

~ 70 lbs of weight will be added. weight distribution is almost the same. handling still feels the same and very hard to notice any difference in terms of handling between the soft top and hard top.

was watching car and driver on tv the one monring a few months ago, and they said that the mx-5 might come with an optional rotary engine......never heard of anything about it besides that......anyone know if its true?

wow! no loss of trunk space! so you still have room for all those FABULOUS outfits. not bad looking at all. they do need to eventually put a rotary, NA or Turbo, in the MX-5 or offer it as an option (yea right). my only true complaint with the car are the ugly tail lights. sad thing is, im probably gonna get my *** handed to me this sunday autocrossing by miatas with 100+ less horsespower then me.
