IPod w/ the BOSE Stereo

Hi Everyone:

I want to use my IPod in the FD so I bought one of those tape player adapter...the sound was good, but it had no sound coming from the bose. I'm gonna return this but does anyone know whats a good solution that I can use my IPod and still utilize the Bose system?

Here is my advice, remove everything: ac, power steering, radio, gut the interiors, put some kind of a roll cage and you're good to go.

Someone probably makes an FM modulator for I-pods.

Wait, so you had sound from the speakers, but not the Bose tube? I'm confused. You said it sounded good, but no sound from Bose. The tube is just running off the rear speakers channel I think. With my Kenwood unit, I can fade to the rear, and only hear the Bose tube. Not sure why you would have sound from other speakers, but not the Bose tube.

Well basically I run the same set up. But I had my whole car rewired cuz my front speakers were bad and had to put new Bostons in them and I also reused the Bose system. Got a Premier Pioneer Deck and all I did was bought an extra auxiliary cable and plug it to the back and hook it up with the Ipod, very good sound and had no problem.

Yeah, you can always run an aftermarket deck that has an auxilary input with the stock Bose system. My Kenwood deck sounds awesome with the factory Bose stuff.
