Great video. To be honest a 240 doesn't deserve to share the same scene with an FD of that caliber.

lol why would you say something like that??

Our FD's are going for almost the same amount as S14's lol

If you wanna say that, then our FD's should be no where NEAR nsx's and supras.

he says that because that fd is far superior car performance wise.

DID you not see the brakes? THE TRUE functional RE-amemiya aero?

THats what he means.. That car can eaily destroy that specific s14 in any circuit.

Acceleration = fd wins

braking = FD ftw
Cornering G's = Fd ftw

The only S14s that are even remotely near the price of a decent FD is the Kouki model and only in great condition. And they're still a bit cheaper. Regular S14 body 240s are only $5000 max. And our FDs are comparable to the NSX and Supra because it outperforms them, especially as lightly to mildly modded track cars.

well s14 vs fd is subjective, depends on how much you dump into the car. The white zenki in the video is very quick and could possibly give my fd a run for it's money if he puts some r-compounds on. He has a sr20 with some large turbo setup, similar to mine (HKS t04S). Either way... as long as the owner drives the car to its potential thats what matters most.

Love the FD, you should off had the camera all to yourself. Your car is like a perfect hour glass voluptuous women, next to a flat cd case type body girl.

amen to that. my only beef with the supra is that it is such a heavy feeling car. Easily a beast, but still heavy.

I said almost the cost of our FDs.

He made a comment meaning the margin is too wide to even compare. When its not.

The margin is wider when comparing FD's to supras/NSX's. WHich is why i mentioned it.

In terms of reliability, resale/value, rarity (TT supras etc).

Performance is relative. All great track cars. But a modified FD will NEVER sell even close to the amount of a low mileage STOCK TT supra. Never. Not even a low mileage STOCK FD. Cant compete. Difference is too great.

Thats why i said not even close. Our FD's fall under the "cheaper jap" car to buy.

Its sad but hey, thats how it is.

Fair enough, all valid points. FDs are still the best bang for your buck Jap sports car on the market.
