An Impala? ? ? Better look again. Do a search for a car called "HAMMER" it was built by Pure Vision (Steve Strope). The car you're talking about is a 1970 Plymouth RoadRunner.
The movie producers prey on the fact that people want to watch good car movies. and there are very FEW good car movies. And as long as retards like me keep paying 11 or 12 bucks at the theater to watch them, they will keep making them. Whatever, its not like these movies effect me in anyway so far.
But *** boi drifting seems to have gone hog wild with the lastest F&F movie.
at least they seem to be more practical cars..like normal people could buy..unlike redline racing lambos and enzos and ****. the plot will prob suck but will i watch it..most likely yes
from what i have read on some other forums and web sites, from personal experieance other people have had when 'lendeing' their cars over to the producers is not so good.
according to one guy when he lent him his car for the 2nd movie, they said they would pay him 500 a day that they had the car. now when he got his car back, they only gave him 250 ( this was only for the time that the car was on camera, so about 12hrs od shooting.
on top of this, when he got the car back there was no clutch left, suspension peices needed to be replace and they treated the car like ****. all repair at the owners expense aswell.
i think it cool that you buddy has his car in the move dont get me wrong, but i would be very skeptical as to let people i dont even know beat on my car.
