Wow that car impresses me a lot! According to Moroso speed calculator the RX-7 should only go 8,2s, but with a slipper clutch and dog ring box ETs are down 2-3 ths. I also noticed that the gearing is a little to short that's why maybe the topspeed is a little bit low.

How did you come to that conclusion? Do you know the rpm redline?
He has gone 7.60's and close to 175mph before.

 

I just look at my speed calculator but i know it's over 20 years old so i think Moroso must come out with a ver 2 of it becausse the improvements of chassis and clutches. Of course i don't know the rpm redline but what i can see of the video the car pulls to 9" just a little bit before finish line and the shiftlite lites up. But this is only my guessing. Off topic, when will Travieso RX-3 go dragracing for the first time this year?
