Consider that the driver is simply driving and not racing it.

I own both the GReddy Type S and the HKS SSQ.

It doesn't sound like the Type S, especially given the low engine speed.

It sounds exactly like my SSQ.

Watching this video reminded me of my old car

 

You guys are inscane. It's clearly a HKS SSQ. I have the Greddy Type-S in my 7 now and it sounds nothing like that. If yours sounds like that you must have broken it. A friend of mine had a GTi 337 and he has the HKS SSQ and it sounds just like the one in the video.

I personally don't like it. I bought one and welded it on and I was disappointed by it. Thats when I came to my senses and just went and purchased the Greddy BOV.

I personally just think it's kinda intimidating. And since you can't get the stock twins to shutter like the drag cars do, it's the next best thing.

But either way, whistle or air horn, they both sound awesome.

So, I guess you're saying HKS and/or Greddy (whatever brand is on the car) bov's are shitty. Yeah, I can see them now, crying about your comment while making another million dollar deposit in the bank. Personally, I like Tial.
