Ford has a problem with thier particulate filters cycling to burn off all of the captured soot that diesels normally put out. Friend of mine is a Ford line mechanic and said the filters are cycling at 2-300 miles, much sooner/more often than expected. As a result, all 07 diesels have been recalled to reflash the ecu.
07 EPA regs require no more particulate emissions from diesels, this is Ford's 'Better Idea', lol.
