Bose head unit, question about wiring...
Not the usual question. I thought i'd be real smart and hard wire an FM modulator into my factory Bose. Little did I know but the Bose doesn't have the typical antenna connector so that idea's out. I'll just use a wireless, prolly not the cleanest sound, but it will do.
Anywho, when I pulled the head unit out, there was 2 tiny wires going to a small little connector on the head unit. These wires looked like they were just broken, maybe I did it removing the head unit, dunno. This small connector is on the passenger lower side of the unit, kind of tucked into the body of the unit making it hard to get fingers on it to pull it loose.
Question - Does anyone know what these tiny wires are for?
I was afraid it was the antenna, but I slid the 2 units (head and CD) back in enough to connect all other connectors and everything worked great ... antenna reception was as good as usual.
Any ideas? Thanks.
