im looking for a blow off valve that sounds SICK that i can get for my FD. does anyone know of ones that sound tyte and aint some sissy lil one. The price dont matter. I've heard some BOV online like sound clips but im sure some of you guys have them and in person they sound different..

did you not read what i said?? i said i heard clips and whatever, i want the opinion of someone who already has one that sounds nice and tell me what kind, cuz i have heard some that sound kinda crappy..

its all personal preference man, only way is to go online like you did and listen..

some people like a hiss, some people like a popping sound..its all on you..

i, myself, have the turboxs RFL and i love it..its loud and the sound is scary..not necessarily "cool" as other people think but when people hear it, it breaks necks because people want to know where that sound came from lol

i also like the pisst of the greddy type s but its not as loud..and the hks bov's i only love on supras...

 

Just vent your stock one.

i have the greedy type S its cool cause it seems to be pretty loud
its cool so its adjustable so you can change it to what you prefer
i have herd good things from the rfl

 

blitz SS is a deep swoosh, not very lowd but different nonetheless

 

i just recently heard a 240sx and a supra with a blow off valve and the major difference was the 240 had a just a big woosh noise and then supra had a higher pitched noise, and i liked the high pitched one better.

I have the HKS SSQ and I love it....it has more of a high pitched noise. My buddy had the Greddy one and and it made more of a woosh noise. One of my other buddies had the Apexi......and that one I can honestly say is the most quite blow-off I have ever heard. It really depends on u though. Its hard to say which u will like.

 

i have the Apex'i Bov and its quiet. its kinda like a woosh sound. it still gets recognized
