I picked one up the other day and they are cool.

These are very well made die cast models of some cars ('vette, camaro, etc) that are larger and nicer than a hotwheel. You get a code that lets you play with the car online and do virtual races and stuff.

Looks like they only launched in the last month or two and there are some bugs but kinda fun. Apparently they have some features coming soon like racing for pinks online against other players, etc, etc.

I figure as a car lover, even the models are just nice even if you don't play the game and with the economy...a parent might buy this for $14 instead of $60 Gran Turismo!

that game looks horrible. im sure the gameplay will be even worse.
theres no way that game could replace gran turismo.
