I would imagine that this removes the best thing about the FD, the 50/50 weight distribution.

The best thing about an FD is that it's a ******* FD.

+1 to I'd rather see it rotary.

+100 to better than a V8 swap.

wow... thats pretty impressive, I love the widebody kit esp. the rear fenders, just having the turbo stick out of the hood would be a little too much for me to drive, what happens if a rock gets thrown up...

I don't see how that is a lame idea. A lame idea is doing something EVERYONE has already done (V-8). The swap looks fairly clean, probably could have been done better. But I think this car is pretty much for the track anyway, no need to cover the turbo inlet in that case.
I don't see how you can say if you want an RB get a skyline, most people can not afford a skyline. In the end, it's a unique idea, but like most engine swaps...it kills what makes an Rx-7 an Rx-7. I would much rather see a Japanese engine in a 7 then an American engine.

I would agree that i would never put an RB into a 7 but if you were gonna swap any other motor other than the rotary into the 7 i would have chosen the RB not a bad idea though.

^^^ I have to agree with you guys as well! You see all these V8 swaps and really nothing like this. I think its very unique and the car looks really nice...

Jut found this jet powered FD... a waste of a great FD in my opinon... (poor quality photos)... I've also seen a 2JZ TT running about 600+ hp, but can't seem to find it... will keep looking...

Blasphemy!!!!! Who needs swaps!!!!

Also, thats a laggy bitch! You see how it takes to 7k to peak out? Go get a bridgeport and keep your 13B!!! And carry that power from 5.5k instead!!
