There was a site a while ago IIRC schoolbusturbo.com it featured a tubbed out bug with a porsche aircooled engine and a....school_bus_turbo. it was *silly*.
So how was it mounted? Transversely with a transaxle... longitudinally engine in the front, in the "back seat"?

well I think its awesome but I like the VW's for the VW drivers cuz the loyalt they have is similiar to ours and they are purists and slow or fast I respect devotion and loyalty to your ride no matter what it is. Rotary or flat 4

Some of those VW guys do some insane custom work...trying to remember what they called the car, but it was a VW that was slammed, and had the top chopped, so that the window was about at most 5 inches tall. It was insane, the guy could hardly get out of the damn thing. I know that its on the samba though, and i think theres a couple videos on you tube. Think it was like Death beetle or something like that, that they called it.
