secrets out guys. I was planning on putting this in my FB and having a grand unveiling video for all to see. Now I'm not so sure I wanna share with all the 'doubters' and 'haters' here.

Hurley's 6-rotor has come up in a lot of threads, but as far as I'm aware they never got it to run. I think they gave up on it. Jeff20B mentioned complications with the counterweights.

I like it. And if it does not work i would paint & polish it and put it in the corner of my living room like an ornament.

That would make even a sport bike sound wounded. It would rev so f'n fast.

If mazda can build a 4 rotor I see no problem in doing a 6.

One sexy mock tho.

Would they use 3 13b motors or 3 12a motors for a 6 rotor? Could they just use two 20Bs with a modified iron, and e-shaft?

Damn, beat me to it!

I didn't know they couldn't get it to run though.

You can't just add them. It's pretty complicated and anything above 3 rotors (hell, even 3 rotors) costs a lot of money. It's not just the money though, it's fabricating an e-shaft that is strong enough. 4 rotor has been done, but that's it as far as I know. It just hasn't been possible to make and e-shaft strong enough for more.

Ever think that maybe the centre iron is from a different model engine then the others? Maybe it's got the EGR passage.
