secrets out guys. I was planning on putting this in my FB and having a grand unveiling video for all to see. Now I'm not so sure I wanna share with all the 'doubters' and 'haters' here.
Hurley's 6-rotor has come up in a lot of threads, but as far as I'm aware they never got it to run. I think they gave up on it. Jeff20B mentioned complications with the counterweights.
I didn't know they couldn't get it to run though.

You can't just add them. It's pretty complicated and anything above 3 rotors (hell, even 3 rotors) costs a lot of money. It's not just the money though, it's fabricating an e-shaft that is strong enough. 4 rotor has been done, but that's it as far as I know. It just hasn't been possible to make and e-shaft strong enough for more.
