iono if you guys really know about drifting, but the way he drifted, its pretty bad, maybe hes an amatuer to drifting, but it would ruin how the "real" drifting on a rx7 is. Try to find the video of many drifting compliations, you'll see some REAL drifting on a rx7 how it pwns every other car =D Dont get pissed, just my own opinion about the drifting part, but the car itself is hot and sounds sexy!!! Props for that!

 

well said. Love the car, sounds awsome and looks awsome. But the drifting.... kinda amateurish compared to how well the pros are doing right now. But still got props from me because he can only get better from there. So if the person who owns that car reads this... you get a full "right on bro" from me.

car seems to be lacking power for such high speed drifts, i dunno if 300rwhp is enough. don't most pro-drift cars have around 400 - 450 in same weight chassis? sounds beauitul and seecckksyy tho!!!!!!!!

 

The car sounds great! But why go through trouble with only 310RWHP?

 

You do realize that those numbers are WITHOUT the p-ports working... He's gonna gain some really good power from the p-ports.

no, hes not the best drifter in the world, but to his credit that original setup with the cones was absolute ****. He's still learning to drift and he'll admit it, but he's pretty damn good and that video doesnt show how good he is. Its a really bad sample of his drifting from one event. Some random person just filmed everything he did that ONE day and put it on the internet (we still dont know who). The other videos in his thread show much better drifting.

wrong. this car has way more than enough power and it has insane throttle response to boot. most professional drifters dont have that much horsepower to the wheels, hes probably over 400 to the flywheel.

Anyways, go ask all these questions in his thread if you more responses from the actual owner/driver/engineer/mechanic.

 

I loved the way that car sounded. That makes me love my car the Rx7 even more.
