really...the olds ones were trappign high teens with 100 less hp. i havent witnessed a run myself but i see many people have tested them and got mid 120s in traps.

My favorite part is when the car does a 1st gear punch to catch up to the other car, i believe its around 8:15 of the video.

If you look closely at the car ahead of him, as he goes through 1st/2nd, you see the car come closer like if he was using a fishing rod to pull him closer.

Just watch it closely, you'll be like holy ****. lol

 

damn that thing should be called v12 killa. i loved the night scene around the 9 min mark. it looked like one of those ufo videos. you see the light in the distant and then zoom its gone. must watch again.

 

Let's not hijack this great thread with how fast or slow C6 Z06s are. On the one hand, I beat one with HALF the horsepower of V8 KILA, on the other hand they run deep into the 11s trapping deep into the 120s, PERIOD.
Bump for one of the best FDs in the world, a magnificent job, and an outstanding video.

Magazine articles base their time on their DRIVER times. Not what "they" think it would run.

Thats why you see some magazine have different times than others, cause its the driver.

And i believe in "car and driver" mag cause their driver is top notch, always runs the best times.

i can never stopmyself from debating. you are right about mph. but lets be realistic man. c5 z06s are known to run high 11s at high teen mph. Now u are gonna tell me that the new z06 with 100more horsepower is gonna run a slower et with less mph. i mean come on. what are u arguing here?

yeah...supras and skyline have been over rated for sometime already. Only the elite group of people knows how to appreciate RX7.

I dont think they are over rated. They are fast and people know that. Sure not ALLLL supras are fast but the majority of the ones that are fast, ARE FAST.

And yes basically 800hp supras do beat everything, when you see one of those high hp beasts go down, its NOT by an rx7, its by something else.

So i would love to see the crispeed FD against against a high hp supra. That would be a good race.
