I've got a Palm Treo that I'm looking into wiring power directly from my cigarette lighter power source to the provision in the cable coming from the ecu. My question is, can I simply use the information off of the phones' A/C power adapter? Info is as follows;

Input: 100-240v-50-60Hz 0.2A

OUTPUT: 5.2v---1.0A

Any help/ideas are much appreciated.
