TPS reading

I have a RTek 2.0 and i was checking out my logs and found that my TPS reading at close throttle is 25% and WOT at 95%. Is this suppose to be right? I already adjust the TPS with my ohm meter for close throttle at 1k ohm.

I also check with my ohm meter and got reading for WOT at around 3.5-4.0k ohm.

Any help would be helpful.

Thanks!

That is correct. Because it is reading ohms.
1 ohm = appx. 25% & 5 ohms (max tps reading) = 100%

Thanks for the reply. I found out that my TPS at WOT only goes up to 95%, will this affect anything? What are your recommandations?

Another question, when I was doing some logging, I found out that my Airflow was way over 100, it went up to like 185 at around 3500 rpm, -9.3 boost. Is this normal because on the ignition maps, the max airflow was 100.

Thanks again for your reply!

It doesn't matter. It is reading 95% because your tps at full throttle is reading 4.5 ohms. 95% is fine most of them do this it is still at WOT.

The ignition map is based on rpm vs. load, not airflow, airflow and load are 2 different readings. Your load cannot go above 100 because it is a percentage 100 is maxed out.

Airflow can go all the way up to I think 1000. I have got airflow up in the 900's with my T04b turbo kit.

Read my thread about ignition timing maps and you will understand this more.

no problem,
ed
