S5 N370 1.7 Timing Issue

I've got my rebuild up and running and using my Rtek 1.7 for the first time. I'm having trouble getting the timing set. Leading lines up perfect, but my trailing is off. Trailing mark is just about 1/2 between leading and trailing (advanced IIRC). So far as I know my Rtek only affects timing when boost goes above OEM and that is when timing is retarded.

Does anyone know if Rtek remapped the split to affect idle?

Insure you're following the procedure in FSM manual. Test lead grounded?

But, disabling the BAC (by grounding the wire), gives you an uncorrected idle... Adjust throttle to 750 rpm (screw on throttle body), Adjust TPS, green w/red strip (narrow-band) wire lead should read 1.00 volt, adjust timing... Repeat until perfect
