S4 TII Stage 2 update (minor)

We will have a minor update for the S4 TII available soon. It adds extended fuel maps (14x18) to allow fuel control up to 8500RPM for you guys that think they have a jet engine under the hood. Also a code tweak to allow smoother fuel correction transitions between cells.

As I said, this is a minor update which contains no bug fixes so it's completely optional.
It does NOT have AFM removal...sorry.

You will need the latest PocketLOGGER in order to use this update. Fuel maps saved on your Palm for the current stage 2 with the smaller maps will not be compatible (i.e. you cant load the small map into the big one)

Anything new with the web based map viewer/editor?

Then I could view/print my maps and translate them to the new exteded map.

When updating software, how does this effect maps? What steps should I take to update software and load maps?

Thanks...

Have you added the newest build, or is the 2.1.3 the newest available? I know you mentioned an update was to happen today, correct?

I do not understand. Does this increase our rev limit? Because last time I have checked my rev limit was like at 7.5k. Why would we need fuel maps up to 8.5k rpm?

PS. I would love to spin to 8k rpms!

is there a fuel cut decel option that will allow raw fuel to be dumped into the engine in off throttle decel conditions?

No. The details are on that page. I don't think anyone has ever requested a feature like that.

it's not like it helps anything but I've seen a haltec or micro that does it and on speed runs when you let off the throttle you get this amazing flame that would be pretty cool at night. Just a thought. I'm talking to a guy about a used rtek2.1 now so I will be joining the club soon

So do we have to pay for the firmware update? I couldn't find it through that link?

Thank you

I'm really interested in that web based tuning.

Just installed the update yesterday. Had to punch in all my timing and fuel maps again but luckily it only took 2 hours. Haven't had the cojones to take it to 8700 rpm mostly due to traction problems in 1st and 2nd and that fast in 3rd equals 90+ but did take it to 7500 though
