s4 rtek 1.7 t2

I installed an rtek 1.7 last week in my car and it has drove and ran beautifully up until last night at the track. I am hoping somebody will know the answer or can help me. I installed the rtek but last night everytime I came to 90-92 mph at the track last night the car would fall on its face. It seemed like it was cutting fuel almost like a speed limiter. Any info or help would be great in trying to help me fix this.

are you sure it's not just the stock turbo falling off? That's right at the top of 3rd.

Yea. I can shift to 4th and it continues to do it. It just feels like the fuel pump is completely cut off and its coasting to a stop.

It's important you state everything you did in addition to removing/installing the ECU. I went almost nuts w/ issues after installing the 1.8 and turned out to be a loose ECU ground I had overlooked.

Does your tach go to zero @ 90-92 mph while in gear? Is your fuel pressure maintained when the engine dies? A tach going to zero points to ignition. If ignition good but the fuel pressure drops points to the fuel system. If there's RPM and fuel pressure could be loss of pulse width. A digital multimeter w/ Duty Cycle function can also be hooked up to monitor the pulse.

Found the problem. The fuel pump had been rewired to a switch and the switch went bad.
