rtek and turbos

Ive asked the question once before about how long was the rtek chip good for (im an s5 so no rtek standalone for me ) but what im wanting to upgrade eventually to a 20g turbo, i was looking at the rtek chips and i already have 550 mains and 720 seconds. what would have to be adjusted ? (this is kind of a newb question i guess i just want to see all thats involved)

rtek is plug n play, unlike standalones you dont need to set up & tune your ECU just to drive it. But since you are upgrading your turbo in the future or possible near future i would look into reading the manual as rogrx7 mentioned on the website to get more info. If it does not meet your fuel needs you would probably need to go standalone.

I'm not running a 20g but a TO4B and I'm tuned at 350 RWHP. That's with the 2.1 completely maxed out. Unfortunately I will be saying good bye to my Rtek this winter to be replaced by Power FC along with a 60-1 and more fuel. But the Rtek will be a perfect match for the wifes TII that only has minor mods.

Please elaborate on what you mean by "maxed out".

By "maxed out" I mean my fuel adjustment is as high as it can go with the 2.1 I have considered the fact that it might still work with the 60-1 because I'm plumbing in dual fuel pumps as well as 1600cc secondaries. But I don't think the AFM will flow that turbo. (hence the Power FC removes the AFM) I would love to keep the Rtek because of the datalogging so if anybody has any ideas I'm open to them.

i made the switch to haltech after making about 310whp with a hybrid turbo with the rtek 2.1. RTek works great under about 300whp, but if you want to make more than that, the AFM get really inaccurate. my AFRs were all over the place with the AFM, with the haltech they are steady as a rock. I believe pocketlogger is currently working on removing the AFM though
