Rtek 2.0 setup for modded AE
We (my son and I) have a modded AE (see our signature below) with the Rtek 2.0 set in default mode. Should we drop the RPM setting for secondary injector operation to 3300 (from 3500)? We don't have a wideband yet and I'm afraid of a too lean situation when we auto-x. I haven't autocrossed for a long time (my son hasn't at all yet) but I seem to remember being limited to mostly second gear (all through the RPM band). We don't want to blow the engine the first day out.
Also, there has been some mention of a timing retard that is in the Rtek 1.7 version. Is that because of 720 cc secondary injectors? We are running the stock 550/550 configuration. Should we be changing anything?

I thought I answered this for you in the other thread. The 720s have nothing to do with the timing retard.
From http://www.pocketlogger.com/?pid=rtek7det#timing
Timing retard above 9psi:
The stock ECU has no additional timing control for above around 9-10psi. This mod extends the timing control to give a little more safety for those running 9+ psi. Timing is pulled about one degree per PSI.

3500 will be ok unless your running more than 10psi, if so then drop
it another 100 rpm or so. It looks like your running the stock 4x550
injectors, with a full RB exhaust you should consider going to 720
secondaries to give you some room at the top of the rpm range,
particularly if your turbo is holding full boost to redline.
