I'm going to be buying a 1.7 off another member on here, and I believe it's going to help out a lot. Another member on here said I should just go ahead and get the 2.0 because he's heard of problems with the 1.7, but I don't really want to spend that kind of $$ right at this moment. Are there "problems" with the 1.7 that I just haven't seen?

My FCD just up and died, and I'm currently using a SAFC to tune 550s & 720s.

So...still running a stock S5 turbo, on S4 block with 3" exhaust...won't the 1.7 get me going again? I'm thinking it'd be the cheapest way to get me on the road again to where I can boost above 8psi.

I have had an Rtek 1.7 for about 1 year now and have had 0 problems with it, evening running 10-12psi.
