rats nest removal

i hear people talk about getting rid of the rats nest completely when they switch to a standalone. what/how much do you get rid of with the rtek?

Removing the rats nest has nothing to do with an EMS. The rats nest is all emissions crap you can get rid if it with a stock ECU. Search and read.

I have the rtek 2.0 and I completely removed the rats nest and have absolutely no problems. The ECU doesn't know that they are missing if that is what you are wondering.

i want to keep my switching actuator, does anybody know if it works without the solenoid? what i want to do is run a vacuum from the original source straight to the actuator

it works without it but i kept mine. Solenoid with the green plug. Keep the check valve too.
