im about to buy a GT35R?

can the rtek 2.1 handle it at 15-16 psi? sounds stupid i know... but is anyone running this big of a turbo with the rtek? i will be replacing the 1000cc inj. with atleast 1200's so i can get to 425+ but i may just get 1600's and not worry about fuel upgrades anymore.

i recently upgraded to 1600's because i was hitting 90% d/c with 1000's. Ill warn you it doesnt work out very well trying to tune the staging point. since staging is load based now, the secondaries dont come on at a set boost.

right now i have it set for the 550/720 preset, with 20% staging correction taken out above 3k rpm and above 6 psi. It seems to work out ok in 2nd and 3rd gear, no stumbles and fairly consistent AFR during transition. But in 1st gear, it will stumble, probably something to do with it being load based.

It would be great if instead of the rtek staging parameters being an adjustable rpm at a fixed load, it could have both rpm and boost parameters adjustable. it would make tuning larger injectors a little easier

i can send you my new fuel map if you want to see what its like. besides the afm maxing out, staging large secondary injectors is the only limitation i see

I was seriously wondering how you were gonna tackle this... If it had AFM removal already, it would be a decent choice. However, having a AFM before the 35R, im wondering how that will work out... (maxing it out and etc...)

well im trying to be the one to really push the limits of the rtek 2.1 and im about there, til the afm removal... but im only going to run 14 psi for the time being. but ill do it and if i cant do it then ill get a e6k or microtech...

would love to see your new tune whenever you get a chance and you think the timing is fine for the bigger turbo? i cant remember how conservitive it was? but im going to get 1600 but i may get 1300"s something.

sounds like a plan... Not something I would suggest to everyone, but maybe if you start maxing out the AFM you could open it up and adjust the spring tension so as to give you a "measurement" of some sort up top. You would have to correct the rest of the fuel map also to counter for this down low and all though. Just a thought.
