Which gear when tuning 2.0/2.1??

I have an S5, BNR stg3 turbo and Rtek 2.0/2.1 N370 ecu. Which gear should I be in when doing a WOT tune, 2nd or 3rd??

Also, should I shoot for AFR psi
0psi=12 afr
5psi=11.5 afr
10psi=11 afr

Thanks in advance

I am street tuning so 3rd will probably be best. I dont want to go too fast at the end of too pull

I do most of my pulls in 3rd as well. Sometimes in 2nd just to get a rough tune then continue in 3rd. Start with wastegate pressure then work your way up. Your afr targets look fine. Make sure you keep more than a quarter tank or more of gas in your tank to keep your fuel pump cool and to cut the risk of fuel starvation from the gas sloshing around. Just my suggestion

Are you using the stock timing maps or the boost based timing maps?

Boost based timing maps. I sat there for 3 hours loading them into the palm pilot. Its arghx moderate timing map

0psi=13.5 afr
5psi=12.5 afr
10psi=12 afr

the final psi AFR depends on many factors but 11 is really safe, but could be a little wasteful imo.

11 to me is really safe, but really rich for nothing if you are running below 15psi.

In boost from 0-8psi I try to get afr to 12.5, from 8-12psi I try to get 12afr, 12-15psi its at 11.5afr, and 15+ its going to be at 11afr. Havent blown my engine yet and I used arghx moderate map as a baseline and tune it to my engine as to where the torque curve is.

I tune in 4th gear on the street :P
Mind you, I tune mostly at 1-3am on the highway where we have long straights.
