ETA on MAF-less Option

Done, Very Near Future, Someday, Not Likely?

Would love plug-and-play functionality but would also love no MAF.

Cheers,

I see the previous thread down below, I'm just probing for more detail than "stay tuned"

After you see the 2.0 S5 released, then check back.

Out of curiousity will the afm removal be a software update or a hardware upgrade?

Because I'd like to buy a T2 2.1 soon and if it is a software update then I would buy it now and then just get the upgrade when it comes out, but if it is hardware then I would wait until it comes out before I buy anything.

Well its kinda both.

The update will require a chip swap. The chip is already socketed so it's a pretty easy swap for even mildly technically inclined people.

will the AFM removal feature allow you to switch to a GM MAP sensor?

Probably, but maybe not in the first release. I know it's been discussed since the stock MAP is limited to 15 psi.
