I maybe able to answer this once I have it installed and running...

When you adjust the leading timing will the trailing automatically adjust because you've set the split timing? Can you lock the split?

Can I get the Split on Lockdown yo!

No, basically when you adjust the split, the trailing timing is adjusted.

I've never had any reports of this happening at random. Is it possible you might have shut the car down while in the middle of making an update?

From: Rancho Cucamonga Ca,
It seems that I have a loose wire that was intermittently resetting the ecu and causing the that NRAM Check sum error. Unfortunately my palm is permanently frozen now. Anyone have one a I could get cheap pm me.

You pressed the reset button on the back?
Or removed the batteries for an hour?

ive never had that error, usually if the cable looses connection, it just says lost ecu connection or something. the only time it would freeze is if you are trying to load maps with a bad connection. then you have to reset

btw, there is a new version of PLviewer posted that fixes the problem viewing 2.1 logs
