Good news..

Initial report just in...Henrik has come up with and we have success fully tested a new 1.7 version that has, by initial reports, completely eliminated the stumble. Additional testing is required, and before you ask, it will easily be ported over to the 2.1 once testing is complete.

OH SNAP!

Now for the next question. I have a 1.7 now, do you know the "update" route? Would it be a pay for update, or a freebie?

We haven't decided this. At the very least it will be a small fee to cover the cost of the new chip and "handling". Or we could ask for some compensation for the updgrade.

This is not a bug fix. This is a patch to the original mazda code that decides when to turn on the secondaries and converts it to load based instead of MAP based.

I'm driving my car more now (I have the 2.0), and I've noticed I have a slight hesitation at light throttle cruising in 5th right at about 2300 RPM's...and I notice the wideband jumps to the 17's during that hesitation...I can give it just a bit more gas or go up to about 2500-2600 rpms and the afr's drop back to ~13.8 and everything is fine....I only notice this because it happens if I'm crusing between 55 and 60 mph.. Anyway, I'm only running about 7 psi on a FEED hybrid turbo, and from the sounds of these last few posts, the AFM is getting maxed on any decent sized turbo, so I may have to switch my thinking on the ecu, but it'll probably be after the first of the year....but we'll see how things go until then.

Tested the stumble fix on a second car today (Thanks Digi7ech) and after putting the new 1.7 in, we could not duplicate the stumble. Thanks to Gross Polluter as well for valuable testing information.

Henrik is porting the fix over to all stages.

But me on the list for an updated 1.5 and 1.7. I send money, you let me know when. And when 2.1 comes, I send money for that too.

Any news on this? Henrick? Or Turbo2liter?

I thought all they had to do was price it? I guess they have to make a bunch before saying "they're for sale", because they probably don't want supply problems for they're customers... Yea.. thats it..

They're making us wait, for us. maybe?

I can't wait. Tossed around the idea of upgrading to a larger compressor side of my turbo to go with my 2.1
