good news and bad news
Good News:
Fiberglass buyers 1,2,4,5,6,7 will have their sideskirts shipped on 3-31.
Carbon Fiber buyers 1,2,4, will have theirs shipped on 3-31
carbon fiber buyer #3 will have yours with the CF pro diffuser shipped on 4-3. Maybe tomorrow if I have enough time to boxed them up.
Bad News:
For the rest of the buyers, yours might not be shipped as fast as those above due to 2 reasons:
1. The weather is pretty bad. When it rains, it's hard to make composite parts.
2. My cousin who makes all the bodykit parts for me has an emergency that he has to leave for Japan on April 6th for 3 weeks. He will try to get as much done as possible before he leaves but if you are at the bottom of the list, yours probalby will not be shipped until the 1st week of May. I will ask him to send me the molds so I can continue to make them here but with the current shop schedule, I really don't think I will have time to make those at the shop.
Moral of the day: When you join a Rotary Extreme group buy, have faith and be the first on the list so you will get yours right away.

Chuck,
Hopefully I made the $100 deposit on time as it is 11:07PM Chicago time on 03/31/06.
Anyway, I'm in no rush to receive the carbon fiber version. I'd rather wait to receive it and get a high quality part than to have a rush job done and suffer from a quality finish.
Thanks,
Nelson (doyounvme[at]comcast[dot]net)

sounds good!
For the carbon fiber ones, yours will be very glossy and there is nothing you need to do. Just put it on.
For fiberglass ones, minor scratches on the sideskirts can't be prevented when they are popped out of the mold. The sideskirts are glossy over all. You can paint them but before you do so, make sure you dewax it or the paint will not stick.
For installation, just go to your local hardware store to buy some self tap screws. Put screws along the side of the sideskirts. Make sure you remove that rubber piece at the rear so the sideskirts will sit flat with the bottom of the car.

I just got a shipment of the sideskirts from my cousin before he left for Japan. 2 sets of CF and 6 sets of fiberglass are available. We have a big rotary meet at the shop this Sat so we probalby won't be able to box everything up and ship them out until the coming Tuesday.
