Weather Is NOT a Factor

**** could fall from the sky and I would still drive there.

This is a very unique gathering of not only unique vehicles, but their owners as well. I am going irregardless of weather. I am like the postal service, but only faster.

C ya theere!!!!!

Maybe April isn't the best month for a nationwide meet to be held in the midwest? April showers bring May flowers.

last year, the day of the show, it said saturday was going to be great and sunday was going to be terrible. It was totally wrong.

The weather here is changing every minute. It was suppose to rain all day yesterday and it was hot and sunny.

Who knows what it will be like this weekend.

This year is not like last year. There are 2 autocross tracks..one standard and one...well lets just say a little more interesting.

There is a lot more stuff to do even if you dont want to drive the courses. There are numerous tents to keep you out of the weather no matter what it is like.
-media tent showing old rotary commercials and attendee race footage
-more seminars incuding one showing you how to replace the leather on your seats!
-more special guests 4 rotor lemans car!!! Heck I'd drive just to hear it run.
-ahem, there are 2 rotary snowmobiles (one is mine)
-A LOT more freebies and prizes
-linked x box racing
-Spaghetti braiding contest
-a car show

It's the largest gathering of rotary cars around..be part of the party!

The weather is going to be fine, and they granted us all a 20hp increase with the cool air. If you stay home cause you think it will rain, you will be sorry. It's going to be a blast.

it will still be fun either way but it would be a lot nicer if it was moderatly sunny. maybe it should be moved out a month next year to like may 22-24 to avoid the potential of it raining the whole weekend?? just a thought

There's another major event happening in Indianapolis that takes up pretty much the entire month of May. You know, the Indianapolis 500. Good luck getting a hotel room, even if IRP is available. I think they always have stuff happening around the time of the 500, too.

I don't really care about the temperature or if it's sunny or not. If there's no precipitation, it's a great weekend. If there's precipitation, it'll still be a good weekend.

Yeah, IRP is pretty booked between the all the NHRA events, the 500, Brickyard, US Grand Prix, and the dozens of other organization that use the track in the summer. Probably the busiest dragstrip in the country.

I had a blast last year. 10+ runs on the autocross. Some people just don't know how to play the cards they're dealt.
