thanks mike and aaron
Just got back, and had a great time. Like last year, IMHO it was only as bad as you made it.
We all know the weather was crappy, however I give the lat-g guys a lot of credit, as they got dealt a bunk hand, rather than running home to cry to moma, they did about the best anyone could do to save the event and insure that the attendants had a good time. The drunken santa was classic. Despite the weather, I did what I came to do, see old friends, make new ones, beat the crap out of my car legally, and put a face to the SN's I see online.
The only things I would change are the date, obviously, and have some type of name tag. As gay as it may sound, Id like to be able to meet some of the people I ‘know’ through the forums.

I second that! Good work with what you had, shitty weather and all. And to Santa thanks for the racing gloves they are quite nice. I had a ton of fun playing poker with everyone at Lees, and the cruise on Saturday night was a blast.
When I got the Detroit they had 4 inches of snow and it was still coming down. Thank God I drop off my FD in Fort Wayne.

I came with a smile (and a winter jacket) and managed to have a great time! I didn't go with the expectations of doing one thing...I came for the whole event and got it. There were good people, awesome organization, some racing, seminars, and not to forget to mention, great cars. Thank you Aron and Mike for making it all happen. We love you guys!!!

Mike & Aaron- you guys deserve a big "thumbs up" from everyone who attended and all the Vendors too! We participate in a lot of similar events and chose to support your event this year based upon your enthusiasm and willingness to make an event succeed! We were even more impressed with how you guys took it all in stride and made the event worthwhile despite the setbacks. My kudos too - to the models- who kept a positive attitude throughout the weekend. As a former pro photographer who's used to dealing with models with "attitudes" it was very refreshing to see these ladies keep a smile on their faces the entire weekend. It was a tough situation for all and the entire crew really met the challenge. We will be back!
