How's the weather looking there Bri? I wanted like hell to drive out there, but 1400 miles round trip for the express privilege of potentially getting hailed/snowed on didnt sound too great. Hope the forecasts were wrong and you guys have great weather

 

Forecast was wrong. It was worse than predicted. January was probably a better mo. for it

 

that sucks man....I was there last year and it was horrid with the rain,cold,wind....that's why I didn't go this year cuz of the forecast....

 

What can we do to talk you guys into a June, Late June date?

They seriously need to move it to late May-Early June. the weather the past 2 years has been horrible....the event isnt going to ever progress with this crappy april weather...o well...maybe next year...

 

May is race season (indianapolis 500) here hotels would be a bitch, also at IRP were its held they do truck races a weekd before the 500 so IRP will be full the whole month.
June is in the predictions for next year since we know it will be warm jus tthe fact of maybe rain but we are hoping not. I'm sure Aron or Mike will comment about it.

 

Well they need to do something about it, u can't depend on nice weather in the midwest until late may/june. I know I've lived here all my life, if they can't get the track during this time, maybe consider moving it to a different venue? I just know a lot of people that didn't go this year because of last years weather experience, and I'm sure this year's weather didn't help matters.....

Last year was cold and wet.

This year I got stranded in SC. Flight canceled to Cincy so I stayed until Late saturday. Hotel on Delta. It was alittle warmer - no snow.

I vote May or another track next year.

Id like to see them stick with IRP. Its a good Place for the event...Just needs to be a different time of year

Indeed, the weather stunk. I'm glad as many people hung around as they did, though. I was hoping to see some more car stuff but the weather and snow prohibited a bunch of it. Oh well'; there's always next year, and hopefully by that time I'll drive my FC up and show up all you punks.
