Trust me its not the burn out...LOL.. I am doing Ernie T burn outs now. Got to wait a few seconds so I can see before I line up.. 12 psi in tires. So next time out going to try less psi- softer springs-struts .and 11.5 tires...

Nice run! What was the mph on the 1/8th?

Are you 60 fts the same with the 10.5 and 11.5's?

Can you tell the difference between the 10.5's and 11.5's when going down the track?

Car sounds great, congrats.

Anthony

Anthony, I have not ran the 11.5's yet. MPH is always around 104-106. I was wanting to trap closer to 110........

Erik, springs are super stiff. 9k and 10k atleast. I have the front dampers set stiff and rears set full soft.

Nice run, car sounds great. I would loosen up the front dampers and lower the tire pressure a little and do some runs. Just make sure your not too loose at the far end. I'm sure you know the lower the tire pressure the looser your going to be at the top end.

Hey Mike running 1/8 mile sucks but it would have been a 10.7 so i know it has it there. 1/8th was 1.5265 60ft 6.9869 at 103.14 mph.

I did get 1 1/4 pass it was 1.7682 60ft 1/8 was 7.1959 102.27 mph 1/4 was 10.9868 at 127.51 mph.

What do you think 10.7 or not?

Ive been running 10's for 3 years with the same setup and the plugs in it are 10 months old and ive never broke anything (yet ) im just very proud of how well its holding up after all the bad press the rotary's get.

If i find any vids ill post them up and show how shitty i drive!

glad you got out to play busted. I cant make total sense out of your post?? You saying my pass would have been a 10.7? If that is your 6.9 congrats as I think you said before you had not gone in the 6's in the 1/8th yet... you still on pump and 20psi? Why not throw in the c16 and crank the boost up?

So you bought a supra??

I need to quit posting sober i just screw things up!

Mike yes thats my 6.9 1/8 mile pass my first. 20lbs 93 oct i havent changed anything in 3 years. I was trying to say if i had continued at that pace threw the 1/4 i figured it would be a 10.7 pass.
They let us run a 1/4mile pass and i screwed up the launch and ran 10.9.

This was a meet were supras were having a meet and i was invited, i brought my car on a tralior incase i broke something but a supra broke instead and i had a friend drive my tow rig and i drove my car home.
I thought it was funnie tow an rx7 to the track and tow a broken supra home!

I still think i can better my time with a suspension change and the same h/p im at now. If not maybe some race gas and 5lbs more boost if the 62-1 can cut it.

Sorry for the confusing post. Eric there were some guys at the track that know you but i didnt get there names, they may give you a shout.

Ahe... ok.. that makes everything clear now... LOL. on the supra thing.. Kinda sounds like my ls1/rx7 weekend.

That pass would have been an easy 10.7 I think. The 1/8th to 1/4 conversions on the net never work for our cars but based on other similar cars and their times I do believe you would have had a NBP!

Off subject but have to vent some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Fucckking mice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just spent 2 hours taking my dash out because a damn mouse decided to come in thru the ac line area and make a new home. Had freakin dog food stock piled inside the fan! I have no ac but run the fans when the temps get up on the blower. Had crap flying thru my vents last week. Never pulled a dash before ....it sucks. Hope the bastards dont come back!
Now to clean and reinstall. I should be a pound lighter now

I was running James with the winged supra its gone 10.5 on low boost.

Emily black wingles supra broke the spider gears and i towed her home.

Tony black wingles supra but i dont know his times sat but he has run 9.50 at 116 mph, its a very bad *** pure street car driven 250 mile to race and driven home.

Im wondering if the 62-1 can go 22-25 lbs on race gas with out killing the motor?
I was told it wouldnt make the 500 h/p that it did.

Thanks gohan.

Nice runs Busted. I would agree on the squating too much. Do you have adjustable shocks? You've gone three years without breakage, so i say crank up the boost a little. Worse case scenario is you have an excuse to upgrade the motor. hehehe Although, consistency and running motors is what wins races in the long run.

The shocks are the originals that came on it! but i have been cutting 1.52 60's but i believe i could do better with adjustable shocks stiffer! I also need to get 1deg camber becouse its way negitave.

The motor is ported, pinned, balanced, 8.5-1, cermet coated rotors and housings, bendable apex 3mil of some sort.
Should be good for 700 h/p so 550/600h/p might last a little longer.

Like i said ive been running the plugs for ten months. But i change oil every 1500 miles or after tracking the car.
I just want a 10.7 on pump only and i think i would have run it but they held me to the 1/8 mile with the 6.98 at 103.14.

Thanks ultimatejay your car is bad *** and im sure fun to drive.
