It's a Jerico 4-speed not a GF 5-speed as I mentioned before.

According to everyone the track conditions were the best it have ever been at Moroso in a very long time.
When you're trying to run those times on an 8.5 inch tire with IRS it's kinda difficult. You have to balance traction with parts breakage. I've been down that road before and it's very difficult to strike a balance. For me the trick was stepping up to a 28 inch tire but I had a rear end that could hold it. I know when Papito tried a 28 inch tire he kept breaking certain parts.

Crispeed, I thought the track conditions weren't good. Guess they had it well prepped...

Yeah hooking with 8.5" tires and IRS isn't easy...

As long as it don't rain the track is pretty decent. Also as long as the sun is out during a very cold day like it was that day it helps to keep the track surface useable. Plus that people from Pinks had the crew from Moroso on their best that day. They were spraying and cleaning the track all day. If any car had a problem with traction they would go out and check to see if it was actually the track at fault and take the neccessary actions to solve it. Seems like the people from moroso are finally catering to the racer's needs.
