Staging Tips from ESPN's Bret Kepner.

Bret was cool enough to instruct a drag racing seminar at Gateway last summer. I got a lot out of it and had a great time. I grabbed some footage when he covered shallow staging and thought I'd share it:

so.... shallow stage for the best ET. and deep stage if you are bracket racing.

shallow for fwd also iirc. i know that doesnt actualy applie here (well generaly)

For the tenth consecutive year, Host of ESPN's Inside Drag Racing BRET KEPNER will offer a free Drag Racing School comprised of six seminarswhich cover every facet of street car racing and bracket racing. The classes are open to every racer,crew member, spouse, child, significant other, friend of a friend, or kangaroo. GIR’s Drag Racing School conducts classes on the first Thursday of each month from May through September. The dates for the 2006 GIR Drag Racing School are May 4th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th and October 5th.No fees or registration are required. Classes begin at 7 PM and conclude by 10 PM.
