I think it will happen soon, within a month. Just have to find time to get to the 1/4 track with some decent weather and a prepped track. First Sunday I have free and weather is decent we will find out.
I am only joking with Anthony. He knows I have nothing but respect for him. I am sure when he comes out it's going to be very impressive!
Roan, you have to feel great with your car running so good! You have a badass true street car!

Thanks guys! It was a long time in the making.. and a very rough weekend with literally everything going wrong up until 5 minutes before that pass.
C. Ludwig, I did get the ignition issues worked out at about 7am sunday morning! Thank you for the help and tech support!! I literally worked on the car until it was loaded on the trailer at 7:30AM, and even then we still ended up changing oil, wheels, plugs and fuel at the track. the first test drive of the car with new ignition, coils, wheels, brake system, fuel and line loc was when I drove through the pits and into the burnout box for my first pass...
I'm extremely happy with the way the car is working, and honestly very supprised at the et. I didn't expect the car to go that quick or fast.
It was great to finally back up the 9.86 @144 pass from last year, and I'm glad that the NE crew: Ernie, Anthony, Darrick, Len, Tommy, and JPR Jim, was all at the track together like old times.
Hopefully next time we all get together everyone will have their cars out, and I'll have my own tire pressure Gauge lol. Thanks for the loaners Len and Darrick!

[QUOTE=AnthonyNYC;11195760]Roan and I have debated for years about a cage. I begged him to simply put a roll bar if he did not want a full cage. He set a goal and wanted to do it without a cage and he did. We were expecting a 9.7-9.8, not a 9.5.
His goals scare me because he really does what he has to do to achieve them! I won't post his next goal but you can only imagine what he has in mind with the 3 rotor.
How does he get past tech for two years? Or should I say how much? LMAO
Roan, all kidding aside, you should get a cage bro, your doing some serious mph and can get seriously hurt if something goes wrong. We all want to see many more runs from you and to risk it like that is just not worth it in my opinion. Take it easy and awesome run.

Thanks Jay.. I can't really get past tech that often. this is why it's taken a year to back up that 9.86 pass. I ran that 9.86 on a shake down right off the trailer the first time ever at the track with this set-up. they kicked me out the track and I can't go back to e town until I get a cage and chute. a month later I went to Atco and tried to better the #... first pass out the car got loose in 3rd and I had to slam on the brakes to not go too fast so I'd get another pass. it went10.8 at like 72mph.. second pass that day went 10.x missing 4th gear and they threw me out...
I had to wait a year to return to Atco and hope they didn't remember me. It's hard tho, because I'm always under pressure to make that 'one perfect pass' when I go out. I have no chance to dial in tire pressure ect.. my one run before the 9.5, the car was loose in first, then slid toward the wall in second. I could have held it for a 10 sec pass, but aborted and got on the brakes so I'd get another run. the laughs from the stands on the return road after it coasted to a 13.3 were all the motivation I needed for that next run lol..

I understand the stupidity of doing this without a cage, but this truly is my street car, and putting a cage in it will make me never want to take it on long drives anymore. I'm too big for the car as is, the cage will make it miserable sitting inside.
I had gave in and was about to put a 6 point in just for personal safety when I stumbled on that 20B deal. the new plan is to retire this car from the drag strip after the Import vs Domestic race at MIR in novbember. this 13B will go into a dedicated FC drag car with cage and serious weight reduction..
once the FD gets the 20B tuned it's only gonna make one or 2 trips to the strip just to prove a full weight, real street car can run a 8 second pass and be perfectly streetable :-) so I just have to keep praying and crossing my fingers that nothing goes wrong for a handfull of passes more lol...

Best of luck man, you car is awesome and your determination to get this done despite the challenges is just as awesome, wish i could get my street FD anywhere close to your numbers... looking out for the new records.
