so i has a 1986 toyota corrola. decided i dont like how it drifts and i really want to build a stupid cheap crappy drag car.

current planned combo:
chassis: 1986 ae86 hatch
-mods: 10 sec legal (or faster) cage, mini tubs, possibly plastic windows eventually, stripped (i hate the stock interior)
engine: 13b
- mods: this is where i need suggestions. motor is a 6 port with a racing beat 4 port carb manifold, oh lots of spray
wheels: im thinking diamond racing 8" wide black steelies
tires: 10.50 e/t streets (some small little frotn not a main concern)

so thas the general idea.... just have extra parts laying around. and want to build somthign that noone expects. and honestly that most people will hate me for.

let me know. any thoughts are helpful

option b:
2.3L turbo ford motor with a c4 big converter lots of spray and boost.

Well, definetely don't do option B or we will kick you out and delete all your threads.

I would ditch the 6port and get use RE or REW plates. Are you going turbo or N/A with nos?

 

plans were na yes for now... since its a carb motor. but i could go efi eventually. im going 6 port just causeit was free.... i was thinking a big street port using the carb and spraying into 11's??? maybe lol. who knows idk even what its capable of. option b was a backup due to that i've built one before... made a mustang run low 11's on bolt on's. but trust me i want a loud brap idle and a screaming top end.

 

well looks like for now it will be a drift car... i started working on it yesterday... getting the engine torn apart... toldit had a broken apex but just looks worn to hell to me... no scoring ont he irons

 

So like I said get the f out of here and go to the drifter section. This is drag racing forum. Just playin.

 

rofl... it will become a drag car once the s13 is back on the road....

drifting is fun... sorry though i need to pull the front tires off the ground lol.
