If this gets back on the ground and has some leadership and goals we would be willing to help out.

GREAT!

I just wish I could be more involved other than donating parts.

sr20 Vs. 13B-T should be the next race but ratehr than the boring 1/4 mile drag race it should be an all-around balance test of 1/4 mile, slalom, time-attack etc., etc.

After reading all 19 pages of these thread i am sure that the Toyota guys will build 67 race cars to go on pinks before we build one Mazda.

just having the power developing capablility of the rotary engine and the very competitive weight (especially gutted and whatnot) of the SA, it shouldn't be hard to run in the 10's or 9's, whatever the predetermined bracket is going to be. There's not much need to build some super high dollar 4 rotor or even a 3 rotor, you can build more power than that chassis will put down out of either 2 rotor engines. it'd be a much better idea to build something that was setup well and got into those low numbers with a lot of traction, something that's well balanced, with enough power. A P-Port 13B with some boost would be more than enough power. I think with the community here, it would be done quickly and easily if everyone decided on one plan. I guarantee the great attitude here would quickly pull the parts needed for that build, but without a decided direction, nobody is gonna do anything. I'd love to see the RX7 forum layin' a beatdown on some other forums, i think it'd be a great way to maybe bring some new sponsors to the forum or something, get a little recognition. Who knows, maybe it'll turn into the next racing show, internet forum challenge or something. I can see it now..."brought to you by the RX7club online forum!" and of course always dominating the races cuz we got that rotary power and that was my fun little day dream for this afternoon, haha

A well known shop has contacted me recently, offering to provide the engine build and also provide some free parts.

Man it hurts to say, but you are so so true. Out of most of the build threads on this site there are only about less than 1% that ever get finished. Especially if it includes more than 2 rotors.

i'd like to see a well built BP TII pushing big boost in a lightened first gen with a 9" out back...simplest way to be competitive i think.

trying to decide if I am buying this for a future project. If I do not and interest is there to use this car let me know. It has a 9 inch and caged already! I can pick it up pretty cheap.
