Puerto Rican Rotaries At Englishtown

This weekend there will be eight rican rotaries at the NHRS Sport Compact races in Englishtown. Six from the island and two from Florida. It should make for some kick-*** racing.

Nice video, thanks. Can't wait for the racing results. By the way I meant NHRA not NHRS.

The following cars are from the island, Nayelis, La Sarita, Adriana Is Back, La Maijailin and Steidel Racing. From Florida, La Otra and Lucimar. This is not counting all the local rotaries.

what happened??

Right Lane: Angel Rodriguez Runs 7.028/182.92, Now #1

WOW!! Rodriguez just missed the first six in Modified history - a missle shot right down the groove. Angel Rodriguez's incremental times: 60ft-0.848 sec., 330ft-2.777, 660ft-4.387/151.39mph, 1,000ft-5.804

There is some discussion going on about the time, and the front of Angel's car, stay tuned, this run may get tossed.

cool video.... clearly something wasn't right, because he didnt even leave on the 2step...maybe to much clutch? line lock problem? but NHRA should worry up themselves to much, because the PR boys will run those times pretty soon.. see you guys tomorrow at Etown

Rau has some major issue on the Semi's pass, after he crossed the finish line it was smoke like crazy...the thing looked like it was on fire, we even thought it had crashed... when i checked it out in the pits the body looked fine, but the smell of oil was all over and they was in a rush to get it running for the finals....congrats to team PR...
BTW i saw Mr Pica & his driver around the pits, but no 1st gen in sight...could it be that they're bring the car to Pomona for the finals?? hmmm guess we'll have to wait and see

Kilo hasn't run an NHRA event for this season, he's only sticking to local races.... I'm not sure if he rebuilt the car after the crash, but with the present NHRA rules & low attendance its not really worth the effort...Local racing in Florida is more exciting than any NHRA event , no joke..
