Just beef it up, you'll be fine. No need for the Cobra IRS. Welcome to the world of too much power Get used to it, its only the beginning. You'll get it.

Let the carnage begin.

We talked about it breaking the same exact way in the car ride there so I made sure to take it real easy. I barely did a burnout. I even forgot to turn the boost controller on so it was only 500hp. It was only making about 3-4psi when I left and it felt ok but as soon as I hit 2nd bang ! I tried to baby it as much as I could too cause I wanted to actually get a few passes this time around since the track was basically empty but nope first pass.

So as soon as I got home I went right out and corrected the situation I'll post pics tomorrow

lol you should pull your head out of your *** cause obviously your having trouble seeing and dont have a clue or know anything about my car. Enzo has never even driven this car yet and it doesnt smoke one bit so I dont know what to tell you lol.

If your the idiots around the corner your cars are a disgrace to the rx7 community and I would be embarrassed to be seen driving your pieces of junk. You guys wish you could accomplish a 1/10 of what we can do so stop hatin and keep your nonsense off my thread thanks

So here is what I picked up last night and whats going in. 03-04 Mustang Cobra IRS

Ernie the case exploded. Pieces of the cover, bolts and the case were all over the track not sure exactly what happened until we take it out but something in the gears prob just let go and shot thru the case. Yea everything is stock R1 in my car axles and all everything, but i guess not anymore. Ive got stock axles for sale now if anyone wants them.

Okay buddy... seems to start up just fine, idle just fine, full throttle just fine and doesn't smoke in the video.. Maybe you need to stop smoking...

I do just fine with both piston and rotaries..

you can open it up and check for yourself but i'll tell you that the passenger side cap broke and pushed the case/cover out the back and onto the track..

If you don't wanna go through the whole conversion, Kaaz makes a new diff that doesn't chatter at all and is stronger with more clutch packs.

It's almost the same money whether you build the stock mazda diff up or swap in the 8.8..

So it makes more sense to have a stronger 8.8 then the mazda..

Didn't know teh 8.8 was that cheap nor stronger. Cool. Wish i woulda went that route instead of spending a fortune getting the driveshaft shop to make that crazy setup i got, lol..
