That's a good one Allen. I give you mad props because at least you did all the work yourself and you are trying and learning to tune, unlike alot of wanabees in these forums.... N/A is alot more forgiving when it comes to the tune and that's why I haven't blown my engine yet. Maybe one day I'll build a turbo car but I just love the simplicity and longevity of the N/A's. Besides, everyone's going turbo nowadays, someone has to keep the N/A's going.

If you had any beans left in your head you'd sell two of your scrap pieces and finish one nice one. You have a case of a champagne appetite on a beer budget, like many.

I built the motor, did the bridgeport job, tuned the motor with a little help from my friend on what chokes and tubes to run, I rebuilt the suspension, did my own alignment, did my own wiring, modified my own transmission. The one and only thing I didn't make is the 9" because I dont have the tools to cut and weld, but if I did I would have done it too, but I installed it and am setting it up. I made one dyno pass just to see what it would make and on my first tune I laid down 198hp to the wheels on a standard bridgeport, not even a J-port. I still have some room to tune and make horsepower but I kept breaking axles, so I just installed the 9" and am still making some adjustments. My best time in the 1/8th mile is an 8.5 at 83mph with stock rearend and street tires and a pitiful 2.1 60ft. With the 9" I should go low 8's to high 7's in the 8th which would put me in the 12's or maybe even lower, well see. So call it a shitbox, I don't really care but one thing is for sure I really like it and am happy because I did all the work myself and it has not blown up. This coming year is paint/and body and I am going to try to do the body work myself and if money allows a pport. One thing I see alot in these forums is people starting projects they can't afford and end up selling or having a piece of scrap in their backyard. That is why I didnt go down the turbo road because I knew I couldnt' afford it. But I have an old school rotary and am lovin kicking v8's asses all over my city.
all I hear are excuses.......

Step up to what plate? What are you dreaming of now? What 1/4 mile times do you consider stepping up?

With all your bragging, I was hoping for more than "I laid down 198hp" and "My best time in the 1/8th mile is an 8.5 at 83mph".

Get with the program, Ernest P Worrell could accomplish what you have.

Being that this was my first tune, I'd like for you to try and find any other 12a's with a standard bridge running 198hp. Most 13b's with bp's around these parts aren't even running that. And show me one quote that I have ever bragged about how fast I am. You're the one who keeps talking with sarcasm and **** and what have you ever done? I didn't want to dredge but here you go *****- you built a 10 second fd by scamming other people to pay for it. Now you change your username and are trying to worm your way back in. Here's a link that best describes what kind of guy you are- https://www.rx7club.com/lounge-192/erics-rx-7-s3-586837/

Way to go, personal attacks for something that happened 8 years ago. You joined in 2006 and you act as if you know what went down. Congrats.

Bro you gotta be the biggest kaka hole on this forum....

If you ever seen me or met me, you would know that I have the money to finish my cars... It's not about not having money, it's about planning ahead and saving the money that I would have spent on my cars because our economy is uncertain..

There's more to life than this forum and not because I don't post pics & updates, it don't mean that I'm not working on my cars..

And no, I don't have a case of champagne on a beer budget.......i have 3 pots of gold, each with a piece of my heart
Unlike you, I'm rotary till I die so it don't matter when I finish my cars because I have the rest of my life to enjoy them...

Boy it's funny how some people can dish it out but certainly can't take it. You're the biggest smack talker in the forums, but when I when a little sarcasm is thrown your way on you and your cars you take it personal. How many times have you bashed me and my car and I have taken it in stride?

Take another shot and punuetes and calm down amigo.

Allen's right, we all need to punetas and calm down. Even though this thread is all about talking smack , I think it has gotten a little out of hand.

Peace honkey and frejolero.

What is this "pull out" you speak of?

Did you mean to say "bust your wood" or "bust your wad"?
